The Hawks announced on September 21^st that guard Craig “Speedy” Claxton had suffered a fracture in his left hand. He is expected to be out for five or six weeks, although his off-court conditioning will continue as usual, without limitations.

In other news, Andre Brown, formerly of the DePaul Blue Demons, is currently in the Hawks’ training camp gunning for one of the openings on this year’s roster. He played last season in South Korea.
