The Bobcats Need to Practice Shooting

It was a rough start for the Atlanta Hawks in their game against the Charlotte Bobcats. Joe Johnson, a man full of surprises, missed his first 5 shots in the opening quarter. However, Johnson’s 5 misses were nothing compared to the Bobcats. They missed their first 13 attempts, the worst shooting in the Bobcat’s 3 year history.

At least the Hawks had Johnson, who came back to score 22 points in the 2nd quarter. But, the real hero of the game was Tyronn Lue who made 2 baskets in the final 2 minutes to win the game for the Hawks 99-90. Let's hope Johnson starts the game off right on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Hawks First Win Is Over Knicks

The Hawks beat the New York Knicks. I should hope so, considering the Knicks, no powerhouse at home, won only eight games on the road last season. But they had pulled one off to start their 2006-07 season by beating the Grizzlies in Memphis. That's all we need--to be victims of a New York Knicks winning streak.

Joe Johnson wasn't gonna let that happen, and he made 30 points just to make sure. Zaza Pachulia had a decent game himself with 22. Good to get that "W" under our belts, Hawks! Let's have some more!
